Roadmap

Our ultimate goal is to protect 250,000 acres of mature, biodiverse forest land within 5 years of launch.

We will achieve this by building fun & rewarding experiences in the CarbonHive metaverse that reward our community members when they make positive choices for the environment (like burning Virtualcarbon to offset their personal carbon footprint).

Below are important milestones on our development roadmap for 2022 and 2023.

Q1 2022 & Earlier

  • Complete smart contract audit by Dapper Labs - DONE

  • Integrate credit card payments - DONE

  • Integrate crypto payments

  • Launch CarbonHive Land Vouchers

Q2 2022

  • Launch the CarbonHive metaverse and redeem Land Vouchers for Land NFTs

  • Launch the CarbonHive marketplace to facilitate trading between CarbonHive community members

Q3 2022

  • Launch Avatars to provide additional rewards to users who burn Virtualcarbon and participate in the Metaverse.

  • Launch the first CarbonHive Forest NFT project

Q4 2022

  • Expand Forest NFT projects

  • Launch carbon projects outside the Forestry industry

2023 & Beyond

  • Launch API to allow companies and blockchains to go carbon neutral
